Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone.  It was really, really nice seeing my sisters and my brother (and their kidlets too)!!  Speaking of kidlets, you absolutely have to see this video of my nephew Trent.  He's 3 years old, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.. see it here.  I zipped it but it didn't compress it much.  It's not large though and it's completely worth the download to hear him say "Justice frog (or frawwg)"! hahaha!

My dad told us a little bit of 'bad' news.  The blockages they found after his heart attack have worsened.  They're doing another heart cath December 5th, possibly a stint and they're also talking about open heart surgery.  I hope this is just precaution and the talk of open heart surgery is the absolute worse case scenario.  I'm going with him on the 5th.

Anyway.  There really isn't much left for me to update on.  I'll have some photos to post later, maybe.

Well, I've been playing with my infrared filter today.  I am not happy with my results thus far.  I know it's because I'm a n00b but I'm one of those people that feels like s/he has to have perfection the first time. hahaha!

Here's a test shot.  I'm not happy with it but that'll be ok. testing infrared.  It's in my scraps.  I'll be putting all my test shots there from now on. haha.

Also, if you use vox.com for blogging.. then you should know, my theme "Firefly night" is now available!!  WOOT!!

Andddddddd, I've been doing the flickr 365 days self portrait thingy.  I just uploaded day 2! my 365 days set.

Where to start.. I have a few things to journal about. haha

First of all, my throat is on fire.  It's been like this for over a week.  I keep losing my voice, getting it back and losing it again.  Joy, oh bliss!!

Secondly, I removed a recent piece from my gallery.  Some of you may have noticed, some of you may not have.  I didn't remove it because I actually wanted to (though I had doubts of it being on here to begin with) but because a family member found my dA gallery and the thought of anyone like that viewing such things.. didn't set well with me.

Thirdly, I need help coming up with a domain name for this weekly photography theme project thinger that Jay and I started (To which, Stacey and Helen are now joining us.. and anyone else, I guess that wants in on it!).  Sometimes I suck really bad with domain names, so if anyone can help brainstorm, I'd appreciate it!

And lastly, anyone on flickr (I'm herbrokentoy on there by the way), they have a new group called "365 days".  It's a self portrait project.  You take 1 new self portrait daily, for an entire year.  I'm going to give it a try and start this weekend.

Welp, I guess that's about all I'm good for right now.

I have to call around and try to do something with my truck today.  I found a beetle bug and hoping to cut my payments in half or do away with them completely.  Cross your fingers for me!!  Kthnx!

Hinder - Lips of an angel = my new favorite song and is currently on repeat.  The lead singer's voice just makes me quiver.

Anywho.  I just felt like journaling for some reason.  I'm sitting here trying to finish up this poem but this song (mentioned above slow poke) is rather distracting.

Think I'll give Diona a call tomorrow, see about getting with her Wednesday.  Wouldn't mind heading out for another walk through the nature trails for pictures or something.

Well, I'm going to cut this short now.  I'm being forced (well if you can force someone who's willing hahaha) to watch Aqua Teen.

I feel.. so icky today.  My throat is all sore and scratchy.. I can barely talk at this point, which I guess is probably a good thing.. eh?! Haha!

I can't believe how bored I've become in a matter of, like an hour.  Decided to see how the "Bears" were doing and it looks like they're behind, 21 (Miami) - 13 (Chicago) going into the 4th quarter.  Oh darn.  Looks like my luck might be running out mwuahahaha.  There is still plenty of time to 'fix' that though, darn!!  The evil part of me is saying "LOSE DAGGUMMIT!" (Sorry Jason, it's the truth bwahahaha) but the real, angelic me is saying "GO BEARS!!" hahaha!

Anyway.  I'm going to go be bored doing something else!!!!

By the way.. eeeeets cold (well, cool haha) in SE Georgia, can you believe it???!!  Me either!
